The Florida basketball team desperately needed a win and it got one against the Southeastern Conference‘s cellar dweller Saturday night.
The Gators ended their four-game losing skid with an 82-72 victory over Missouri in Columbia.
Florida, finishing its regular-season 18-13 overall and 9-9 in conference play, came out with a ton of energy and never really let up for the entirety of the 40-minute contest.
The Gators quickly claimed a double-digit lead in the first half and sustained it for most of the contest, taking a 46-28 advantage into the break.
In the second half, UF extended its lead to as many as 21 points and had a response for every run the Tigers made.
