Florida baseball is the No. 4 national seed in the 2015 NCAA Tournament.
Fresh off a victory over Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament final on Sunday, the Gators were awarded that seeding on the NCAA Tournament selection show broadcast by ESPNU early Monday afternoon.
The national seed isn't surprising: Florida was considered likely to earn one even prior to that SEC Tournament performance, and was announced as a Regional host Sunday night. But Florida seemed more like a No. 7 seed entering play in Hoover; four wins in four days, including wins over No. 2 national seed LSU and Regional host Vanderbilt, probably propped up the Gators.
