The Gators will play for the right to go to the College World Series for the first time since 2012.
Florida didn't produce quite as much pop at the plate in its Sunday game against Florida Atlantic in the Gainesville Regional as it did in its first two games of NCAA Tournament.
But the Gators didn't need to.
Florida's staff combined to limit the Owls to one run and six hits, and the Gators offense produced two runs from JJ Schwarz hits, which was enough to secure a 2-1 win that sees Florida through to the Super Regional round of play for the first time since 2012.
