Florida has put together one of the nation’s top 2016 recruiting classes, but coach Jim McElwain and his staff know how quickly things can change — for better or for worse — before National Signing Day.
That’s why the final weekend for official visitors may be the most important one for the Gators.
UF is hosting 10 recruits on official visits — seven of whom have given Florida verbal commitments and three players considering signing with the Gators — this weekend.
UF is hoping to flip four-star Westfield (Texas) wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland from Houston, and the Gators are hoping his friendship with fellow four-star wide receiver Rick Wells, who will also take his official visit this weekend, can get the pair to sign with Florida.
