Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones is heading into his second season in the NFL, but under difference circumstances than a year ago.
Jones, a former Florida running back, has gone through Redskins training camp as the team’s likely starter at the position, a role he recently discussed with NFL.com.
“Yeah, very different. It’s a different approach you got to take,” Jones in comparison to his first training camp last season. “The ownership you got to take, the liability you got to take. You got to do everything. You got to be a leader.”
Jones, a Redskins third round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, said he hasn’t taken his new role for granted.
