Tom Luginbill joined Frank Frangie and Brent Martineau Wednesday on the “Frangie Show” on 1010XL Jax Sports Radio. With National Signing Day less than two weeks away, the Gators’ class continues to disappoint.
“Why have they recruited more poorly, at least according to names on lists, under (Jim) McElwain than they did under Muschamp?” Frangie asked.
Luginbill responded.
“You could make the argument that Muschamp recruited terrifically, but missed on the most important position in football and that’s all that really matters at the end of the day,” Luginbill said. “Now you look at him at South Carolina, he’s hit on a quarterback (Jake Bentley) and he’s took what should be a 3-9 roster and took them to a bowl, because of one position.
