Gator Country has learned that edge rusher Lloyd Summerall has entered the transfer portal on Tuesday morning.
“I appreciate the University of Florida and the whole organization for everything throughout these past years,” Summerall wrote on a Twitter graphic.
“I will be entering my name in the transfer portal seeking a new home.”
The Lakeland product was a member of Florida’s 2019 recruiting class. He came into college listed at 6-5, 214 pounds, according to the Gators’ official roster.
Summerall played in just five games throughout his first two years at Florida. In 2021, Summerall weighed 247 pounds and played in all 12 games in a special teams and reserved edge rusher role.
