DT Caleb Brantley is 5th Florida player to go pro early

Florida defensive tackle Caleb Brantley on Friday became the fifth Gator to turn pro early, announcing his intentions to bypass his senior season.

Brantley is the fourth Florida defense to leave a year early, joining linebacker Alex Anzalone and cornerbacks Jalen Tabor and Quincy Wilson. Offensive tackle David Sharpe also is turning pro.

Brantley’s decision was expected, and he should be off the board relatively early in the draft, likely by the end of the second round.
