Florida is scheduled to play Miami to start the 2019 season in Orlando. But that is not going to be a regular occurrence.
Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley recently joined Gainesville’s WRUF to talk about the state of UF athletics. He was asked if a game against Miami could be become an annual contest.
“No, I do not see them on our schedule on a regular basis,” Foley said. “I think when you’re asking your football team to play eight games in this league and Florida State? That’s a tough slate. This league is obviously as good as it gets, and Florida State is as good as it gets.
