Dillard at center of action for UF

Redshirt sophomore Cameron Dillard is aware of his responsibility on the offensive line for Florida this season.

Following a line of successful centers at UF, Dillard will deliver the opening snap of the Jim McElwain era at Florida when the Gators host New Mexico State on Saturday at The Swamp.

The 6-foot-4, 308-pound Dillard has leaned heavily on offensive line coach Mike Summers during preseason camp to help prepare for his role. He’ll replace Max Garcia, a fourth-round pick of the Denver Broncos who was a leader on and off the field for the Gators last season.
