The Florida Gators were in the middle of the first quarter of Saturday’s game against South Carolina when they received big recruiting news.
Running back DeMarkcus Bowman (5-11, 190, Lakeland, FL. High) announced he was transferring from Clemson to Florida on Saturday because of the feeling he gets in Gainesville.
“Florida has always been a dream school growing up for me,” Bowman said of why he picked Florida. “They’re a traditional pipeline for Lakeland, it has always been the same with them, and it’s always been love and always felt like home.”
Bowman who liked Florida a lot during his recruiting process last year admits that he picked Clemson for one reason and unfortunately that reason is no longer with us.
