The Florida Gators added their second commitment of the 2026 class on Wednesday when an instate prospect flipped to Florida.
2026 defensive back Demetres Samuel Jr (6-0, 185, Palm Bay, FL. Heritage) flipped to Florida from Syracuse on Wednesday after visiting Gainesville.
Samuel was on campus over the weekend for the Gators Grill in the Ville cook-out event and he enjoyed his time around the coaches.
“Coming back to Florida is always going to be fun, it’s a family tradition. Seeing coach Will Harris is always going to be a good time,” Samuel said on his visit to Florida.
