UF coach Dan Mullen said the Gators expect to open training camp Aug. 7 and kick off the 2020 season on Sept. 5 at home against Eastern Washington.
Mullen, speaking via videoconference Tuesday, said he sees no alternative but to take a business-as-usual approach despite all the remaining unknowns and potential obstacles to playing football this season.
“I’m trying to focus on with all our guys — which is really hard to do with everything going on with the pandemic right now — is worrying about what we can control … what we know and what we can control,” Mullen said.
