The league of Herschel and Bo became a quarterback/passing league after Steve Spurrier arrived at Florida in 1990. Now, the SEC is a tailback/rushing league again thanks to Alabama, LSU, Georgia and others -- the way they've cranked out elite back after elite back in recent years.
There will be another strong running back stable in the league again this season, led by at least two Heisman Trophy candidates.
One of those, of course, is in the Eastern Division.
