J.C. Jackson, a contender for a starting cornerback spot with the Gators, was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of armed robbery after turning himself in following an incident in Gainesville.
According to police, Jackson entered an apartment with two other men, and after Jackson left the apartment to other men allegedly robbed the people inside the apartment at gunpoint.

At 3:45 p.m. Jerald Christopher “J.C.” Jackson came to visit an apartment of an acquaintance in a complex at 4400 SW 20th Ave. but entered the home with two men who were unknown to the people who lived there, according to a Gainesville Police Department report.
