The Gators win over South Carolina may have not been the prettiest win of the season, nor the biggest win of the season, but it was the most important win of the season. Florida defeated Gamecocks 35-31, ending a two-game losing streak and putting fans back at ease with the big-picture direction of the program.

Florida trailed 31-14 in the third-quarter with a third straight loss staring them straight in the face and serious questions surrounding head coach Dan Mullen and starting quarterback Feleipe Franks front and center. But something strange happened in the final 20 minutes of the game: the Gators blocked out the noise and simply kept playing.
