Florida men's basketball to begin 2016-17 season in Jacksonville: The Gators will tip off in Jacksonville at the Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday, November 11th against Belmont and against Mercer on Sunday, November 13th. The renovation of the O'Connell Center is scheduled to be completed in December, so Florida will play its early season games at other locations, including previously announced dates in Orlando, New York, and Sunrise.
