UF senior forward Colin Castleton has been selected as one of 20 members of the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award watch list, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced on Friday.
Castleton was previously selected as a Preseason First Team All-SEC member by the media.
He averaged 12.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game last season, his first in a Florida uniform after he transferred in from Michigan. He was voted to the Coaches’ All-SEC Second Team following the season.
He also established himself as one of the top shot-blockers in the league, swatting away 2.25 shots per game, one of the five best single-season marks in program history.
