The Gators allowed their quarterbacks to get sacked 46 times last season, the most in the SEC. Overall, the sack total ranked 121st in the country out of 127 teams.
Florida coaches were quick to point out during UF media day that it’s not all on the offensive line, that at times, quarterbacks need to get rid of the ball faster and receivers need to hit their spots more quickly.
