The Florida Gators will be without their leading pass catcher when they host the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday.
Speaking with Laura Rutledge on SEC Nation this morning, head coach Dan Mullen announced that Kyle Pitts will not play against Arkansas and that Pitts may not travel to Vanderbilt next week either.
“It’s going to be a multi-week deal for him,” Mullen said of Pitts. “Hopefully we’ll get him back later on down the road this season. The injury that he got in that hit last week a little more complicated than you would originally think.”
Pitts had two catches for 59 yards and a touchdown against Georgia before a vicious hit from Georgia safety Lewis Cine knocked him out of the game.
