By the time Saturday night’s visit to Tennessee kicks off, UF Dan Mullen will have “Rocky Top” ringing in his ears.
To prepare for the crowd at 102,455-seat Neyland Stadium, Mullen will have the Vols’ unofficial fight song piped into Gators’ practices.
“I’ll be whistling Rocky Top by the end of the week,” Mullen said. “You just hear it over and over.”
Mullen knows it is could be considered blasphemy in these parts, but the 46-year-old has to admit he kinda likes it.
“It’s a catchy tune,” he said.
Even so, Mullen hopes to have gotten his fill by the time his team gets to Knoxville.
