Florida got big news – literally and figuratively – Wednesday morning when national top-75 prospect Tedarrell Slaton announced at his high school that he was signing with the Gators.
Slaton could be Florida’s highest-ranked recruit this cycle.
Slaton (6 feet 4, 360 pounds) starred at guard for Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage and is considered one of the top three guards in the nation. But some schools think Slaton can be a dominant defensive tackle, and he seems likely to start out along the defensive line for Florida.
Slaton was considered a strong Florida lean, and he also considered Georgia.
