GAINESVILLE — An introductory news conference was held for the University of Florida's new basketball coach on Monday and it went something like this:
Billy. Billy. Billy. Billy. Billy. Billy. Billy. Billy. Billy. Billy.
University of Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley began the media session by taking the podium and immediately comparing his hiring of the relatively unknown Michael White to his discovery of legend-to-be Billy Donovan 19 years ago.
And it progressed from there.
Billy did this.
Billy did that.
Billy won this.
Billy won that.
In fact, I'm convinced now that historians got it all wrong.
