If you are looking for a word to sum up Wednesday for the Florida Gators on the recruiting trail, the word that comes to mind would be “unpleasant.”
First, offensive tackle Kai-Leon Herbert (6 feet 5, 284 pounds), from Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage, committed to Miami. Herbert, a four-star recruit, decommitted from Michigan last week and more than a few people thought he was headed to UF, which has commitments from two other American Heritage players this recruiting cycle.
Blessed beyond measure to announce that I HAVE OFFICIALLY COMMITTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI God got us from here on out .
