The games were played in the basement of the family house in Maine during snowy winter afternoons.
Before becoming the basketball coach at Florida, before earning a scholarship and winning the starting point guard job at Ole Miss, Michael White would recreate his own version of the Final Four with his younger brothers, Danny and Brian.
“It was fullcourt,” Danny White said. “We had the little Jordan Jammer, little plastic hoops in the basement. Me and both of my brothers would just go at it.”
Fast-forward more than 20 years later, and the three White boys have all managed to build successful careers in college athletics.
