The Florida Gators picked up a late commitment for the Class of 2022 on Wednesday when they picked up an out of state prospect.
Tight end Arlis Boardingham (6-4, 220, Van Nuys, CA. Birmingham) committed to Florida over Oregon and others on Wednesday.
“For the next three to four years, I will be continuing my academic career at the University of Florida,” Boardingham said.
Boardingham waited until Wednesday to decide after he took an official visit to Oregon the last weekend of January and wanted to make sure he made the right decision.
The coaching staff impressed Boardingham when he took an official visit to Gainesville in January and that helped the Gators.
