Why all the angst?
Even beyond the talk about options for rescheduling Saturday’s postponed game between Florida and LSU – and those options have been discussed ad nauseam by now – one main question remains.
How did the delaying of a game for fear of a hurricane – something that happens virtually every year in college football – become such a vitriolic, bitter topic? Why in the world are folks at LSU so incredibly enraged that the game didn’t get played?
Consider this: There are four Division I football-playing universities in a roughly 150-mile radius covering north and central Florida: Florida, UCF, Bethune-Cookman and Jacksonville University.
