The bad news keeps coming at UCF.
The Knights dismissed former all-conference running back William Stanback for violating team rules, coach George O'Leary said Tuesday.
According to ESPN, Stanback failed multiple drug tests.
The 6-foot-1, 228-pound Stanback rushed 189 times for 697 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore last fall. He also caught two touchdown passes.
But he appeared in only two of UCF's first three games, amassing 17 yards on 12 carries on the nation's worst offense.
According to ESPN, UCF will block Stanback from transferring to include Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Maryland and Texas.
