Florida sophomore forward Alex Condon earned Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, the SEC office announced on Monday.
Condon played a critical part in Florida’s 2-0 week with wins over Vanderbilt and No.1 Alabama, averaging 18 points, 9.5 rebounds, four assists, and one block per game.
The Perth, Australia native scored 19 points on 7-11 shooting on Tuesday night vs Vanderbilt, which marks his career high against an SEC opponent. Condon also added nine rebounds (three offensive), four assists, and two blocks in 31 minutes vs the Commodores.
