Greg McElroy understands Jim McElwain. When McElroy was the quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide, McElwain was his offensive coordinator where the now Florida Gators head coach helped McElroy and the Tide win the 2009 BCS National Championship.
Following McElwian’s first appearance at SEC Media Days in Hoover, Alabama, McElroy spoke to reporters about the demeanor of the Gators new coach, what he could infer from it and what it means for the future in Gainesville.
He also took a bit of time to describe what the first year for the SEC Network, where he’s an analyst, has been like and how it changes his opinion of all 14 conference teams.
