Florida has five commitments for its 2019 recruiting class, and of the five, the “longest-tenured” recruit in the class is three-star safety Trent Whittemore.
Whittemore, who stars at Gainesville (Fla.) Buchholz, committed to Florida on May 28, 2017. Is he still a UF pledge? “Absolutely,” he told GN.
Whittemore (6 feet 3, 190 pounds) says he has built a strong relationship with Dan Mullen over the past few months.
“I really like Coach Mullen and the atmosphere around the program,” Whittemore said. “I can really feel the urgency and the intensity with the whole staff.”
