With the 64th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected quarterback Kyle Trask.
The Heisman Trophy finalist became the fifth quarterback selected in the draft, and the first taken in the second round. He is the first quarterback drafted out of Florida since Tim Tebow in 2010.
One of the best stories in all of college football, Trask did not start in high school and played a backup role at Florida until Feleipe Franks went down with an injury at Kentucky in 2019. From that second half comeback performance on, Trask put together one of the most unexpected and incredible careers by a quarterback in school history.
