The Florida Gators finished its 2018 regular season on a sour note with four consecutive losses. It’s the first time Florida has been swept on the weekend since Auburn accomplished the feat in 2017 (March 17-19) and the first time Florida has lost four games in a row since 2013.
Despite the rough ending, the No. 1 Gators did enough throughout the season to win the league outright. It’s Florida’s 15th SEC championship and the fifth for Kevin O’Sullivan. It also gave the Gators the No. 1 seed for the SEC Tournament, which begins next week in Hoover, Alabama.
