The Gators are coming off of a school best 44-11 season in 2016, which was good enough to get them to Omaha for their tenth College World Series appearance. After finishing the regular season as the number six team in the nation, Florida was knocked off by the eventual CWS champions, Coastal Carolina.
The Florida Gators will open the 2017 season against Colonial Athletic Association champions William and Mary on Friday, February 17. The Gators will play 35 games against 16 different opponents in the friendly confines of McKethan Stadium at Perry Field.
