Max Garcia became the fifth Gators selected in the 2015 NFL Draft when the Denver Broncos selected him with the 133rd overall pick in the fourth round. Garcia joins other Florida Gators Jon Halapio, Andre Caldwell and Lerentee McCray on the roster.
Garcia began his collegiate career at the University of Maryland. He played left tackle for the Terps and started all 12 games there his sophomore season. After a coaching change, Garcia decided to transfer schools and chose Florida after visiting Clemson, Ole Miss, Georgia and USC.
After sitting out a season, Garcia slid inside from his left tackle spot and played left guard for the Gators as a redshirt junior.
