The Florida Gators like what they see out of 3-star West Palm Beach (Fla.) Oxbridge Academy running back Travis Homer, and it appears he enjoyed what he saw from his trip to campus on Saturday.
“I liked the trip overall,” Homer explained. “First, we gathered and I got taken on my own personal tour of the sports complex and stuff. Then we came back and went to the football field, the weight room, saw the training center, and then the coaches talked to us. We were able to talk to some of the players and asked them questions. Then we went off to our individual position coaches meeting.

“In the individual coaches meeting, I talked to Coach [Tim] Skipper. Then I was walking and met Coach [Doug] Nussmeier, I talked to him a little bit. After that, they brought me up to the head coach’s office.
“I got to the head coach’s office, we were talking and he let me know I got an offer.”
What did he think about the offer?
“I was happy. I’m happy Florida offered me.”
The 5-foot-10, 195-pounder is currently ranked as the nation's 28th-best running back prospect in the Class of 2016, per 247Sports.
