No. 4 once again graced the American Heritage-Delray football field on Saturday morning.
The number, worn by late Heritage running back Greg Bryant, was retired last fall to honor Bryant, who was shot and killed on Interstate-95 last May. But Saturday allowed an opportunity for the number to make a comeback.
Greg Bryant Sr. partnered with the Delray Beach Sports Exhibitors for the first annual Greg Bryant S.O.E. Sports Camp, which hosted about 200 elementary, middle and high-school kids. Every one was adorned with shirts emblazoned with “Bryant” and his No. 4 on the back.
