Florida Atlantic women’s basketball found itself on the winning end of the scoreline for the fourth straight game Sunday, beating the Florida International Panthers 87-82 to open up Conference USA play.
After the Panthers went on an 8-2 run to start the game, FAU made a 20-point comeback to tie the score at 22 to end the first quarter.
The Owls (9-3) took a 47-42 lead before halftime on a 5-of-10 performance from behind the 3-point arc.
