Two months into the season, Florida Atlantic baseball coach John McCormack is still waiting for it to happen.
Even though the Owls are positioning themselves for a third NCAA Tournament appearance in four years, McCormack says he has yet to see the team peak. They are hoping that happens during this final 10-game stretch that begins Friday with a three-game series at Florida International.
“It kind of crept up on me that things were going so well because it never seemed that the whole team was hitting on all cylinders at the same time,” McCormack said.
