Two former Owls get drafted, seven get tryouts during 2019 NFL Draft weekend

A number of standout college football players’ careers officially started this past weekend with the 2019 NFL Draft. And FAU fans should recognized some of the names that were called.

Two former FAU stars were drafted — which tied a program-high — and seven others received minicamp invites.

Here’s where they’ll be starting their professional careers.

RB Devin Singletary – Buffalo Bills

The first Owl drafted was none other than Singletary, who was picked in the third round (74th overall) by the Buffalo Bills.
