There were several keys for Florida Atlantic in its critical Conference USA victory over Old Dominion at FAU Stadium on Tuesday night.
Both running backs, Devin “Motor” Singletary and Kerrith Whyte, were able to get rolling. Redshirt freshman quarterback Chris Robison gave the offense a spark early, which was huge for him after some rough outings. He also showed good rapport with tight end Harrison Bryant.
The defense had some bright spots in creating turnovers, but also allowed the Monarchs to do much of whatever they wanted to do.
