BOCA RATON — The end of an era is quickly approaching for Florida Atlantic, although the last ride for All-Conference USA safety Jalen Young figures to be his best yet.
A former star at Seminole Ridge, Young ranks third in program history with 12 interceptions and eighth in tackles (246). Young has grown from a safety in on every play to a shutdown defensive back, one who mixes an attacking mentality with precision – and, as he acknowledged when speaking to The Post this spring, a young man who can acknowledge what the “crazy ride” has been like.
