Two of Florida Atlantic’s most recent additions won’t see the field this season, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have an impact.
Receiver Jovon Durante and quarterback Chris Robison have to sit out this year due to NCAA transfer rules, relegated to running FAU’s scout team offenses. Durante transferred from West Virginia and has two years of eligibility remaining. Robison was dismissed from Oklahoma and has all four years of eligibility left.
FAU coach Lane Kiffin said getting Durante to Boca Raton was a coup for the program that might not have been available a year later if he attended a junior college instead of West Virginia.
