With the return of redshirt senior Kelly Parfitt to the lineup during Saturday's 27-21 loss to Marshall, Florida Atlantic finally had all of its offensive linemen healthy again. But by the end of the game, it did not.
Parfitt returned after missing four games with a knee injury, starting at right guard while Bryan Beck manned right tackle. But Parfitt exited during the first half after appearing to re-injure himself and was spotted in street clothes on the sideline in the second half.
"I'm proud of Kelly," Owls coach Charlie Partridge said. "He did everything he possibly could to keep his body out there.
