BOCA RATON — Saturday will be 283 days since veteran Florida Atlantic pass rusher Hunter Snyder last recorded a sack.
Don’t expect that streak to continue for much longer. With Snyder making his way back from an undisclosed injury that’s lingered since training camp, he should be back in the sack column when FAU (2-2) begins Conference USA play with a road showdown at longtime rival Middle Tennessee (1-2).
“I think this will be the game,” FAU head coach Lane Kiffin said.
Snyder led the Owls with six sacks last year and entered this season fifth all-time on FAU’s sack list.
