BOCA RATON — For the first time this year, Florida Atlantic safety Jalen Young finally feels like his normal, All-Conference USA self.
A former Seminole Ridge standout who has been bothered over the past month with a knee injury, Young had a season-high 10 tackles as the Owls, fresh off two disappointing losses to UCF and Middle Tennessee, moved to 3-3 (1-1 in C-USA) with a 52-33 win over Old Dominion (1-5, 0-3).
“I felt amazing,” Young said. “I felt like I was Jalen again. It was nice to be out there with my teammates having fun.
