In order to speed up the development of Florida Atlantic's basketball program, coach Michael Curry wants to speed up its games.
Curry, the third-year coach who enters Friday's season opener against Texas State after an 8-25 campaign last year, said he wants the Owls to up their tempo. The hope is that running more in transition will help improve FAU's offense, which was second-worst in Conference USA last season.
"Increasing our pace of play is going to be important in increasing our scoring," Curry said. "Now, all players say they want to play faster.
