Florida Atlantic’s football team made a pilgrimage south to Fort Lauderdale’s Carter Park on Saturday, marking the second consecutive year the Owls have shipped a spring practice 20 miles from Boca Raton.
FAU coach Lane Kiffin said he wouldn’t mind pushing a little farther south to Miami.
“Really great idea that they had before, and glad that we could do that,” Kiffin said. “Yesterday, I said we need to look into some other places, too. Not just one trip. Go to some other places, maybe down in Miami, some different areas. It was good to get out here and good for some different people to be able to experience our practice.
