BOCA RATON — For the most part, Florida Atlantic’s offense this season has lived up to expectations through the season’s first six weeks.
After leading the nation with 32 rushing touchdowns a year ago, AP All-American running back Devin Singletary (American Heritage) has continued his scoring onslaught and leads FBS players with 14 rushing touchdowns this season. Quarterback Chris Robison has played like a freshman at times and a seasoned veteran at others, making use of West Virginia transfer wide receiver Jovon Durante and junior tight end Harrison Bryant. An offensive line that lost All-Conference USA selections Antonyo Woods and Roman Fernandez is improving each week with several linemen who could warrant NFL consideration in the coming years.
