FAU returned home to Boca Raton after a 21-42 defeat against #5 Ohio State in the opening weekend of the college football season. However, the Owls outscored the Buckeyes 21 to 17 in the final 3 quarters.
This Saturday`s matchup is arguably the biggest home game in FAU history. A ranked, in state opponent is coming to FAU stadium.
The Owls are 11-3 at home under Lane Kiffin.
Players are also very much looking forward to hosting such a big game on campus.
“Its going to be exciting playing our first home game with such a big audience”, WR John Mitchell told reporters on a conference call earlier in the week.
